Smart home devices were the hot, gift-worthy items during last year's holiday season and 2018 is shaping up to be no different. What will happen next in this love-in is unknown, but so far, much of it makes sense, as unlikely as it may have been.

Speaking about the smartphone's highlight, it features a quad-camera setup at the rear. At this price point, Galaxy A9 will be competing against the likes of OnePlus 6T and Asus Zenfone 5Z. There is also a 24-megapixel sensor at the front that supports a handful of beauty features as well as a software-backed Face Unlock functionality. The setup includes a 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 24-megapixel main sensor, 5-megapixel depth sensor and 10-megapixel telephoto sensor. "Talking about the specifications, the device comes with a 6.3" Super AMOLED Infinity display with Full HD+ (2220 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC that has four cores clocked at 2.2GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The internal storage is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.
