Rockstar Addresses 'Red Dead Online' Issues, New Updates Planned for This Week

The beta for the online portion of Red Dead Redemption 2 launched this weekend and players aren't happy with the overall economy, that sees a huge discrepancy in item prices and mission rewards between the campaign and multiplayer. There is, however, also much that it doesn't tell you, much that would probably be very useful to all players in many respects.

Red Dead Online is off to a pretty good start, but one complaint keeps coming up: making money often feels like an uphill battle. Aside from the world feeling somewhat barren, the multiplayer mode suffers from a freakish in-game economy where gold watches are worth less than a can of baked beans. Players say that it is out of balance, pointing to examples like baked beans being worth more than gold rings. The coolest gear will likely still take a lot of time and energy to earn.

Those hoping to be the most gun-rich gunslingers in town are also hindered by the necessity of dipping into their savings for things such as ammunition and camp maintenance costs.

Venezuela's Maduro is on his way to Russian Federation to meet Putin
According to Maduro, he was planning to hold "a very intense and very important meeting" with Putin later on Tuesday. Ties between Turkey and the United States , two North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies, have also been strained.

Gold Bars are present in both, but in Red Dead Online, they aren't simply things to search for and collect.

Thanking Red Dead Online players for participating in the beta, Rockstar Games mentioned some of the specific areas it's focused on. "You get in between 0.02 and 0.04 (0.02 gold bars = 2 nuggets) from series (deathmatch, races, etc.) which take 10 mins each or less", the Reddit user said. In turn, this can make saving your money for the stuff that you really want to buy seem like a grind, and, of course, a stingy economy helps push microtransactions.

Some additional details about what specifically will be changing about the economy would have been great, but players can breathe a sigh of relief (for now) knowing that it's at least on Rockstar's radar.
