Naturally, we watch it every year.

We're going to have to give this news story a spoiler section, but here are the basics: Ubisoft has released the teaser below for what they describe as "a new Far Cry game".

That means that this new Far Cry - which will be announced at the Game Awards on Friday morning is a direct sequel to the last one, but that that direct as it's set quite a number of years after Far Cry 5.

Official US government oil production and inventory data is due later on Wednesday. Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih met with the U.S.

The video is only a short teaser for the full reveal at tomorrow's Game Awards 2018, so we won't have to wait long to find out more details. However you felt about it, looks like the next Far Cry offering will pick up right where those explosions left off, in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Even though I didn't really love Far Cry 5, I'm down for another game in the series that doesn't take itself as seriously, kind of like with Blood Dragon. My money's on something similar to Far Cry Primal - a full-scale game, featuring a new setting, that largely reuses the basic map/geography of a previous game.

It's worth noting that none of the branding or wording in this trailer specifically mentions Far Cry 5. We'll report more on this new project when it is formally revealed at The Game Awards tomorrow night.
