Bush can be seen digging an item out of his left pocket as he approached the front pew of the National Cathedral, where President Trump and first lady Melania Trump, as well as three former Democratic presidents and first ladies, were seated.

Bush appeared to hand former first lady Michelle Obama something at his father's funeral, recreating a moment from Sen. "This photo, taken Monday, is courtesy the Senate Press Photographers" Gallery pool", tweeted Bush spokesman Jim McGrath, who included a picture of the crowd surrounding Bush's casket as he lay in state at the Capitol Rotunda.

Bush then shook hands with former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, causing her to smile when he passed her what appeared to be a piece of candy.

Kensington Palace has issued a rare statement about a recent alleged argument between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. Speaking to co-host Susanna Reid, he said: "She just wants to be ever more important".

As the world mourns the death of former President George H.W. Bush, ABC News contributor Cokie Roberts remembered his time as president and what distinguished him from the modern political climate on this week's Powerhouse Politics podcast. "And I was like, 'How long have you had these?' They said, 'A long time".

Tearing up as he concluded his eulogy, the 72-year-old politician expressed how his father will be remembered, before breaking down. "Your decency, sincerity and kind soul will stay with us forever". "So through our tears, let us know the blessings of knowing and loving you, a great and noble man".
