Cleveland police are opening an internal investigation into the response of Kareem Hunt's case and allegations of assault after a video from a February incident was released last week showing him shoving and kicking a woman in a hotel hallway.

Cleveland police said they did not receive a formal request from the league until after TMZ published video of the incident, which occurred at the Metropolitan at the 9 in downtown Cleveland.

The city also said it is reviewing the "overall response" by the police department regarding its handling of the incident.

"We are in the process of removing Kareem Hunt from the Madden NFL 19 roster, Madden Overdrive and Madden Ultimate Team", EA Sports representative was quoted as saying by TMZ Sports.

The map, for instance, is changing once again, and players have an entirely new Battle Pass to progress through. The region is home to three new areas: Polar Peak, Frosty Flights, and the charming Happy Hamlet.

An individual named Jordan Carpenter, who indicated he was employed by the National Football League, filed a request for unedited police reports, police records, 911 call, surveillance footage and other info connected to the "incident involving multiple individuals" at the hotel on February 10, according to the Kansas City Star.

Hunt is being investigated for two more incidents, as well as the fight in February.

"In addition, NFL representatives also made requests for surveillance video to the hotel property", Brian McCarthy, the league's vice president of communications, told ESPN. As you might recall, Hunt lost his job, was put on the commissioner's exempt list, all within hours of the hotel video surfacing.

Hunt was not arrested or charged.
