Marvel Studios Unleashes New Captain Marvel Poster

A second look at March 2019's "Captain Marvel" lays out a bit more of the landscape that this space-faring superheroine lives in: an intergalactic war come to earth, a life full of flashbacks, fabulously conditioned hair, and Nick Fury without an eyepatch. The striking and colourful poster shows a scintillating Brie Larson with waves of power running across her arms and hair. This is a huge spoiler for the film, although after the release of the first trailer, many suspected as much. It's just been locked away from her memory. The 20th Century Women star plays a Kree who reportedly rescued Carol and gave her some extraordinary abilities. Recently it was revealed that she's actually playing Maria Rambeau, Monica's mother. The first female solo lead in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and touted as the strongest Avenger.

As we saw on the first trailer, the main invading alien force are going to be the Skrulls.

Kevin Feige is the producer of Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel. The second trailer is expected to showcase further what she can do and how she fights.
