After winning the first leg 4-0 in what feels like an eternity ago, Real Madrid are now in the act of welling and truly seeing off Melilla in the second instalment of their Copa Del Rey round of 32 tie.

Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Alvaro Odriozola and Cristo were all on target for Real in the first leg, while Melilla have since won all five of their league games and hold a five-point lead at the top of their Segunda B group.

The game, as well as the tie, was effectively over six minutes before the break when Asensio turned provider to allow Sanchez to help himself to a third, and Melilla's hopes of keeping matters respectable were deal a further blow within two minutes of the restart when skipper Isco blasted home from distance. Real Madrid boss Santiago Solari has described the winter transfer window as "not his area", casting doubt over whether Los Blancos will make a move to strengthen their squad in January.

"There are 24 players on the squad, plus the boys from the academy", Solari told reporters. "I am watching them work with enthusiasm".

Why Christmas Tree Farms Are Blaming Shortage on 2008 Recession
According to the council, the availability of real Christmas trees is down 40-50 per cent, but there is no shortage in Halifax. He blames the 2008 recession for higher prices this season, especially for the short supply of taller trees he's experiencing.

Now in full-time charge, Solari rang the changes for this match up against modest Melilla, with the Argentine resting the likes of Thibaut Courtois, newly crowned Ballon d'Or victor Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema.

Many have questioned the result given Modric's underwhelming start to the 2018-19 campaign, but Solari has no doubt the Croatian deserves his prize. It seems to me that at that age it's more lovely because he can truly value it. "So, we are very happy for him".

This match will not be broadcast live on UK TV.
