Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao leave for Isha Ambani’s wedding celebrations

A Reuters report stated that the former US President Bill Clinton is also expected to accompany his wife for the celebrations. We clicked Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao as they left for Udaipur this afternoon. The flashbulbs popped incessantly as these celebrities arrived at the airport.

The Ambanis and the Piramals are hosting the pre-wedding festivities, which include the sangeet and mehendi ceremonies, of Isha and Anand in Udaipur over the weekend (December 8 and 9).

The wedding is the latest in a series of high-profile marriages that began previous year, when Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli tied the knot with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Meanwhile, the pre-wedding festivities are going in Udaipur where VVIPs, business tycoons and Bollywood celebs are coming to grace it. The Ambani-Piramal extravagance has been underway for quite some time which included celebrations at their residence Antilla in Mumbai, and 3-day festivities in Lake Como Italy. Among the early arrivals were Priyanka Chopra and hubby Nick Jonas, who apart from being good friends with Isha, also had her as one of the bridesmaids at their own wedding on December 1. The engagement ceremony was attended by Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Anand Ahuja and several other Bollywood celebrities.

On Friday, Mukesh Ambani along with his family had commenced a special "Anna Seva" to feed 5,100 people, the majority of them with special abilities, over three days.

Son of Ajay Piramal, the chairman of the Piramal Group of companies, Anand reportedly proposed to Isha Ambani in Mahabaleshwar in May. Shloka is the daughter of diamond magnate Russel Mehta.
