AQUAMAN Sequel In Talks

Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films have released a brand new clip from James Wan's highly-anticipated superhero epic Aquaman, featuring Amber Heard's Mera trying to convince Arthur Curry that he should fight for his right for the King of Atlantis as the true heir to the throne. Considering Wonder Woman's box office (and pop cultural) performance, however, and how it potentially compares to Aquaman's, chances are pretty good that the guy who can talk to fish will be doing more fish-talking in a future film. With uncertain futures for both Batman and Superman, Wonder Woman is the franchise's current top star, with Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn making a strong push with her own film (she costars in Birds of Prey) coming soon. Aquaman might change the game for DC though. It's now predicted to kill the box office, and come out on top over the new Mary Poppins and Bumblebee. Somewhat buried in a profile of the film's Mera, Amber Heard, THR reports that studio chairman Toby Emmerich is confident in the the early estimates for the film's domestic opening week ($65 million) that he has begun talks on a sequel. "Heard, who sources say earned a low-seven-figure salary, would see that payday balloon".

A low seven-figure salary is still fantastic, since women in comic book movies usually earn somewhere in the six-digit range on their first outing (although technically, Heard had a very small role in Justice League).

'Red Dead Online' Updates With Cheaper Weapons, Better Economy
While updates and tweaks will be made in the coming weeks, Rockstar Games are not planning on wiping any player progress. The Week 1 Red Dead Online patch aims to address some of these claims by balancing the game's economy a bit better.
