Obsidian Unveils The Outer Worlds

So basically - as a fan - I'm saying that Obsidian's new IP is the game of the games that we're never going to get all wrapped into one conveniently packaged RPG experience! A first-person shooter in a frightful universe that has seen capitalism run amok and infect numerous other planets, The Outer Worlds mixes the harsh materialism of society with a somewhat amusing look at the future.

The annual Game Awards kicked off last night, and it's safe to say that 2019 is looking to be a pretty big year for the industry. "It affects everything in the game - the setting, the characters, the dialogs".

This is the first trailer for The Outer Worlds, a brand-new first-person RPG from Obsidian and Private Division.

The game is set on a colonised planet far out in the galaxy. By the trailer's tone, you can tell The Outer Worlds isn't taking itself too seriously: there's poppy music, a mad scientist, and already some of the silliness Fallout designer Tim Cain is known for.

Cavs Receive Matthew Dellavedova From Bucks in Multi-Player Trade
The Cavs moved veteran sharpshooter Kyle Korver to the Utah Jazz late last month in exchange for two second-round picks. With the Cavs rebuilding and playing rookie Collin Sexton a lot, there was no point to have Hill on the roster.

The game is not an open-world RPG, but rather a series of interconnected, smaller worlds and locations.

It'll be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

KitGuru Says: The Outer Worlds isn't quite what I expected, but the humour hooked me in and the story sounds darker than the colourful aesthetic would have us believe. In it, you are a part of a colonist ship heading to the far reaches of outer space. Obsidian has announced its upcoming game that will be created by the original Fallout creators. What do you guys think of Obsidian's Outer Worlds trailer?
