Free-agent point guard Kay Felder has been waived by Raptors 905 of the National Basketball Association G-League after he was charged in connection with a domestic violence allegation, the team announced in a news release.

"The G League is aware of the allegations against Raptors 905 guard Kahlil (Kay) Felder and has placed him on indefinite leave pending a full investigation into the matter", a league spokesperson said.

Felder reportedly choked a woman after the two got in an argument over dinner, and more details will likely be released soon.

Felder is the Horizon League career assists leader from his time at Oakland University, and at only 23 years old, could have made his impact on an National Basketball Association team with enough hard work. The victim called a family member, who then called police. He had brief stints with the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons last season before signing a non-guaranteed contract in Toronto this past August.

What's interesting, though, is that the images don't look exactly the same-this is notably observed in the camera section. As for the objective of the notch, it would hide the front-facing camera, as you can see in the leaked photo.

Felder was later arrested for assault and utter threats.

We've reached out to Felder for comment - so far, no word back. After being waived by the Raptors in October, Felder remained with the franchise's G-League team.

Felder, 23, had been averaging 18.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists in 11 games for Raptors 905 this season.

Following a series of National Football League controversies and criticism of its own leniency, the NBA strengthened its domestic violence policy in the most recent collective bargaining agreement. He's now released from custody but is due back in court later this month.
