Real Madrid agree deal with Chelsea for Eden Hazard

Chelsea are one of five Premier League clubs under investigation for mis-dealings with youth players, the very same offences which saw Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid all suffer a one-year transfer embargo.

Having lost Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus last summer, Madrid have been crying out for someone to take the former number seven's mantel, having seen both Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale become inconsistent.

The news cycle surrounding Chelsea never stops and as such, it can be hard to keep up to date with everything that's going on. But they found themselves in a similar situation last season with Hazard's Belgium global team-mate Thibaut Courtois.

The 28-year-old stated this ahead of Chelsea's Premier League clash with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City on Saturday.

The Belgian's contract runs until 2020 and he could renew his deal with the Blues. In the end, the goalkeeper left for a fee of around £35million.

According to the latest news, Blues fans will be glad to hear that manager Maurizio Sarri has stated that Chelsea is preparing to offer a bumper new contract for club talisman Eden Hazard immediately.

"It's up to him". I want Eden here, of course, but I want him here if he wants to stay.

This rumour has been doing the rounds for a number of months now, with the Belgium global edging worryingly closer to the end of his contract at Stamford Bridge.

The recent dip has correlated with Chelsea's stutter, which has seen them claim only four of the last 12 points on offer.
