Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel said he was pleased with the Ligue 1 giants' 4-1 Champions League win away at Red Star Belgrade to secure top spot in Group C.

'I love our reaction after the goal, we controlled the match. "Our fans can dream of the title but we have to stay focused".

In their two home games, Red Star drew with Napoli and beat Liverpool 2-0. "I was a little scared this year that we would not go to the round of 16 because it was hard", he said, as quoted by L'Equipe.

Some astute substitutions did help Napoli look like more of a threat in the final 20 minutes (and given that a second goal Liverpool wouldn't have changed their task, you wonder why they didn't take more risks earlier), and when the chance did finally arrive in injury time, Arkadiusz Milik fired straight at Alisson from seven yards out to end his side's Champions League adventure. We got the job done, as they say.

Just eight minutes were on the clock when Cavani tapped Mbappe's pass into an open goal, after the French teenage sensation met the excellent Marco Verratti's through ball, brushed Filip Stojkovic aside and slipped a flawless pass for the Uruguayan. That would leave the Reds tied with Napoli on H2H record and also on overall goal difference.

The South Afriican star finished at 18-under 266 at Randpark for his ninth European Tour title and first in almost three years. An emotional Oosthuizen held back tears on the 18th green having powered to an emphatic six-shot success in Johannesburg.

Red Star captain Stojkovic had a torrid evening, and Neymar made light work of the 25-year-old on his way to a wonderful solo goal in the 31st minute, dribbling into the box and sitting down the hosts' keeper Milan Borjan before lifting the second into the net.

The Partenopei couldn't impose themselves on Jurgen Klopp's side whatsoever, struggling against the Liverpool press and losing possession at the back and in midfield much too easily, leading to opportunities for both Jordan Henderson and James Milner.

Eleven minutes into the second half, Marko Gobeljic pulled a goal back for the hosts after a headed clearance fell kindly in his path and he unleashed a stunning volley past PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

However Marquinhos snuffed their enthusiasm out when he met Di Maria's lovely deep free-kick to make sure of the three points with 17 minutes remaining. If Red Star beat PSG and Liverpool win, the French champion will drop down to the Europa League.

"We are happy", said the France global.
