The Bears lost Vic Fangio to the Broncos, who according to Adam Schefter, will become Denver's next head coach.

Fangio came to Chicago before the 2015 season after not getting the head coaching job with the 49ers, where he was the defensive coordinator for the previous four years.

This is the first head coaching job for the 60-year-old, but he has more than 30 years of coaching experience in the NFL.

Despite more than 30 years as a coach in the National Football League this will be the first time Fangio will be a head coach. Denver's defense should quickly return to relevance under Fangio and Elway will help the coach identify a promising offensive coordinator.

The Eagles had taken the lead when Nick Foles hit Golden Tate with a 2-yard touchdown pass on fourth down with 56 seconds remaining against the NFL's stingiest defense.

Elway said he also plans to take a self-assessment this month to review the moves he's made that have led to Denver's three-year playoff drought since Peyton Manning retired a month after the Broncos' Super Bowl 50 title.

Norwegian billionaire's wife abducted, kidnappers demand $10M ransom for her life
A real estate investor, he owns 70 per cent of electricity company Elkraft which he co-founded in 1992, Norwegian media reported. According to daily Verdens Gang , the ransom demand was for nine million euros ($10.3 million) in the cryptocurrency Monero .

"I love playing for that guy", Hicks said. "Giving that opportunity, the resources behind him that we can give him, I think it's a great job".

Fangio's defenses are predicated on speed at the linebacking position and they utilize lots of pressure to force opposing quarterbacks into making quick decisions and mistakes.

With Fangio in the fold, Gary Kubiak could serve as his offensive coordinator or as an assistant coach. When the 49ers fired Jim Harbaugh in 2014, they passed on their defensive coordinator in Fangio without even an interview and instead hired his defensive line coach, Jim Tomsula, who was sacked after one season.

Despite the experience and accolades, Fangio had hardly been considered as a head coach prior to January.

Veterans like defensive end Derek Wolfe and cornerback Chris Harris Jr. believe the Broncos are in a transition mode, and in the case of Harris, admitted, "it's important we evolve".
