Celebrations as Duchess of Cambridge marks 37th birthday

"Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages on The Duchess of Cambridge's birthday!" a photo of Kate smiling during her visit to Cyprus was captioned.

It will no doubt be a special occasion for Kate, who will be celebrating for the first time as a mum-of-three.

Kate, 36, wore a blue Catherine Walker coat which she was first seen in when pregnant with Prince Louis last February.

Meanwhile, Prince George, five, and Princess Charlotte, three, have resumed normal life after spending the Christmas holidays with the Queen in Sandringham.

But, in a lighter moment, he was given a birthday card to pass on to his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, who turned 37 on Wednesday.

Back in 2017, the royal opened up about the impact gardening had on her family while visiting London's Robin Hood Primary School: "I've got such fond memories of being in the garden and being outside from my own childhood, and I'm sharing that with my own children, George and Charlotte, at the moment".
