Capcom has announced a demo for their highly-anticipated remake of one of the finest games of all time, Resident Evil 2. A new cinematic trailer will play at the end of your time and then that's it.

The demo of Resident Evil 2's remake will put the squeeze on players beyond the usual "trapped in a building full of zombies and wall-smashing monsters" tension. If you die, you can continue, but once those 30 minutes are up, you're done. I'm not sure how this limitation may be affected by uninstalling and reinstalling or simply switching user accounts, but the idea is to give you a 30 minute teaser and leave it at that. Available to download for a limited time from January 11th to January 31st, this will be the first opportunity for fans to experience the completely reimagined horror classic from home. Interestingly, completing the demo also reveals a new cinematic trailer, but you have to make it in time. The Resident Evil 2 demo is set in the iconic Raccoon City Police Station and has players in the role of one of the series' protagonist, Leon S. Kennedy.

This 1-Shot demo leaked on the Xbox Store in mid-December and all the details match with the announcement.

USC Denied Jets, Cardinals Permission to Interview Kliff Kingsbury
Drawing interest from the Jets and Cardinals , the 39-year-old former Texas Tech head coach could very well land a job here soon. Despite the block from USC, according to team sideline reporter Paul Calvisi, Kingsbury is a serious candidate.

"Leon must survive vicious zombies and solve puzzles to find safe passage out of the station". The Resident Evil 2 Steelbook Edition India price is Rs. 3,999.

The demo is actually rather peculiar, as it's timed, as you can read below.

Will you be playing the Resi 2 demo, or are you saving yourself for the full release later this month?
