"Yannick Carrasco (25) has been offered to Arsenal, who are searching for a winger", he tweeted.

Italian reports had claimed Carrasco was a target for the two Premier League clubs.

Carrasco came through the youth ranks at Genk but made his name during impressive spells at Monaco and Atletico Madrid before making a shock move to Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang last winter.

The Metro are one of several outlets citing Sky Italia as reporting that Arsenal and Man Utd have registered their interest in signing Carrasco while AC Milan were also keen but have been put off by his hefty wage demands.

Furthermore, Carrasco will have to take a significant pay-cut to move to north London as his current wages would smash Arsenal's wage structure.

Roger Federer in tears talking about his late coach Peter Carter
After knowing about the death of Peter, Federer was seen running in the street near his hotel in Toronto screaming uncontrollably. Federer said he is confident to defend his title for the upcoming 2019 Australian Open , which begins January 14.

Arsenal have favoured wing-backs under Emery but in attacking areas there has been an over-reliance on the likes of Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Speaking about a move recently, the Arsenal boss said: "If we have the possibility to sign some important players, we can do it".

But Sky Sport Italia claim (via 101greatgoals) Arsenal have made initial contact with the Belgian worldwide, who has given his "approval" to the move.

The Dalian Yifang ace is being tracked by Arsenal as speculation continues over his future in China.

Carrasco joined Dalian Yifang for £26.5 million previous year and the Chinese club, who finished 11th in the table last season, will want to recoup that fee.
