Britain's Andy Murray will open his Australian Open campaign against Spain's 22nd seed Roberto Bautista Agut.

Kyle Edmund, back at the scene of his semi-final appearance 12 months ago, was also given a hard opener against former top-10 stalwart Tomas Berdych, who is unseeded following injury.

Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are aiming for the same record from opposite sides of the draw, leaving open the prospect of them playing in the final for a seventh Australian Open title. But being so close, I'll give it a go.

Andy Murray has offered a supportive fan free tickets to his opening match of the Australian Open as an apology for being thrashed by Novak Djokovic on Thursday.

"The first time I came back here and hit on the courts, I thought, 'OK, I'm home, "' the third-seeded Wozniacki said of her return to Melbourne Park. "Reaching 100 would be truly very special for me". "You have (Denis) Shapavalov in the 20s, (Borna) Coric is in the low teens, so you have a lot of players positioned to make a big breakthrough". Local hope John Millman, who dumped Roger Federer out of the fourth round at last year's U.S. Open, is no slouch either as a potential second round match-up for Murray, with 10th-seeded Russian Karen Khachanov another likely roadblock to the last 16.

She is set to visit Smart Works on Thursday and plans to make public visits to the other three organizations in the coming weeks. This is thought to be a nod to Meghan's activism work before joining the Royal family.

Defending champion Caroline Wozniacki takes on Belgian Alison van Uytvanck in round one and could potentially meet 30th seed Maria Sharapova in the third round.

Nadal has been struggling with a spate of injuries over recent months.

Speaking ahead of Brisbane, Murray said "I still have some pain in my hip", but that "I'm in a better place than I was a few months ago".

The draw for the first Grand Slam of the season was made on Thursday and the top seeds could face some early tests of their title credentials when play gets underway on Monday. Not just physically, but also mentally, to see that I could beat Grigor Dimitrov twice, he was top-10 at that time.
