Redmi Note 7 debuts with 48 MP camera, awesome price tag

To inspire greater confidence, the Redmi Note 7 is now covered by an 18-month warranty instead of the usual 12 months.

Xiaomi is promising a lot with the new Redmi Note 7 camera, especially with the smart features on the 13MP front camera that lets you unlock the device with your face, and comes with things like portrait mode/bokeh effect.

The Redmi Note 7 has a 6.3-inch LCD screen with a tiny, "water drop" notch. After making Redmi an independent brand Xiaomi launched the first phone under the brand aka the Redmi Note 7 in China today.

After the announcing the price cut for three smartphones - Xiaomi Mi A2, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Xiaomi Y2 - the Indian smartphone market leader Xiaomi has announced the fourth "surprise" which is a price cut of the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro. However, it's not clear if Xiaomi will be releasing the Redmi 7 or Redmi Note 7 at that event. Rs 10,380, 4GB RAM for 1199 Yuan which is approx. Exclusive to China, customers can add an additional RMB10 (~RM6) to include a 9V/2A fast charger, which is able to fully charge the phone in only 1 hour and 43 minutes. Connectivity options include USBType-Cport, 3.5mm headphone jack, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Global Positioning System.

The Redmi Note 7 starts at 999 Yuan (about Rs 10,000) for the 3GB/32GB variant.
