Everton are keen to make a £14 million move for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, according to a report from the Mirror.

During his time with the Chelsea first team previously, Batshuayi scored moments of brilliance on his way to fire in 19 goals for the club from 53 appearances in all competitions.

The striker's potential availability comes after Valencia sporting director Mateu Alemany confirmed that the 25-year-old's season long loan at the club was to be terminated early.

Silva should feed very encouraged by Batshuayi's apparent availability, and at such a reasonable price too.

"We are negotiating with several clubs an exit for Batshuayi", Alemany was quoted by Metro UK as saying telling reporters.

"The player knows he is leaving, we told him some weeks ago".

They claim that he will jet to Italy this weekend to undertake a medical, before signing the necessary pre-contract agreement. The Welsh midfielder was subjected to interest from many big clubs across Europe including FC Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain.

We are expecting an exit in the next few hours or days'.

"We hope that, for his sake, this can be resolved as soon as possible. I've clearly run out of patience with certain individuals".

The Blues hitman has just had his loan spell at Valencia cut short after a poor stint in Spain.

Belgium striker Batshuayi has scored a single goal in 15 top-flight appearances for Valencia, who are 12th in the table having qualified for the Champions League last term. On the effort and the commitment, on everything that I see.

The Belgian worldwide had a fairly unsuccessful spell with the La Liga side, scoring just three goals from 23 appearances in all competitions.
