New Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe Unveiled, Expected In India In 2019-20

German luxury vehicle manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has reported its best-ever sales in India.

The Mercedes-Benz CLA is back, despite MB's new A-Class sort of filling the entry-level four-door gap in the lineup. Among the Mercedes Benz portfolio, the Long Wheelbase E-Class sedan maintained its sales success across markets and continued to remain the single highest selling model for the brand in January-December 2018 period. The famed MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) system has been updated with the capability to answer more complex queries- for example, sports results, calculations, general knowledge, as well as eateries matching the specific demand of the driver.

Mercedes says the system recognizes natural-language commands, such as selecting music or navigating home, and it can also be controlled through controls on the steering wheel, a touchpad, or the infotainment touch screen.

With MBUX, Mercedes-Benz says it has been revolutionising how to operate a vehicle and communicate with it since the launch of the A-Class. Mercedes will offer a pair of 10.3-inch screens as an optional upgrade. We could also see a 4.0 liter bi-turbo V8 engine option. Torque matches the old model, and exceeds the A-Class by 37 pound-feet.

Kyler Murray To Declare For NFL Draft, Leanings Towards Football
I've never seen anyone better in high school and he's starting to show it now at the college level. That's assuming they can convince Murray to leave baseball behind.

Inside, the new CLA-Class is a dead-ringer for the A-Class on which it's based. The new CLA has also been honed in the wind tunnel to have a drag coefficient of 0.23, very close to the previous car's 0.22 Cd, despite a larger frontal area.

Starting with the most obvious change, the new CLA gets a radical new look. But it is physically larger than before with a more spacious cabin that brings even more features from the ground-breaking MBUX connectivity system, plus the latest in semi-autonomous safety and improvements in efficiency through wind-cheating aerodynamics and economical powertrains.

2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 is sleeker, more powerful than ever before originally appeared on Autoblog on Tue, 08 Jan 2019 14:30:00 EST. When the new CLA goes on sale globally, it will be offered with both diesel and petrol engines, with both manual and dual clutch transmissions and all-wheel drive as well. The systems fitted include active brake, lane keeping, and lane change assistance systems along with Pre-safe Plus, which can detect an imminent rear-end collision and prepare the auto for it.
