Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's campaign was fined by the state of NY for not having required workers' compensation for a month past year, according to the NY state Workers' Compensation Board.

Meanwhile, Politico ran an article today claiming "Exasperated Democrats try to rein in Ocasio-Cortez", for which AOC had yet another ideal response, not just shutting down the sentiment but also solidifying her nerd cred for the foreseeable future.

Instead of letting the article go unmentioned, Ocasio-Cortez invoked a quote by the comic book protagonist Rorschach, created by Alan Moore. She's repeatedly stated her support for legalization and advocated to fix the harms caused by the War on Drugs.

Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, who is extremely active on social media, has yet to respond to the embarrassing report.

Meanwhile, Jessica Proud, spokeswoman for the New York State GOP, said: "Hypocrisy at its finest".

She also called on other congressional lawmakers to increase pay for their interns and staffers, saying she spoke to several staff members who were upset about how little they made for how hard they worked.

"If you look at the majority of new Democrats in the House, they tend to be, I say, center-left, if they are not left-left".

Apple Watchers Are Already Looking Toward the Next Next iPhones
As the new year kicks off, we already have rumors swirling about the next round of iPhones to come from Apple. According to WSJ , Apple may also remove 3D Touch from its entire iPhone lineup in 2019.

"This is basic stuff, especially if you hold yourself out to be the champion of workers", the campaign operative said.

Ocasio-Cortez shared with her more than 2 million Twitter followers that she'd vote against a Democratic rules package.

Ocasio-Cortez was the subject of a January 6 "60 Minutes" segment on the bartender turned congresswoman who wants to challenge the way Washington works.

'The so-called champion of workers, when given her own responsibility, is not following the law...'

I think she has matured.

The Politico report follows criticism from high profile former members of Congress like Democrat Claire McCaskill, a former senator from Missouri.

"She's new here, feeling her way around", said Representative Kurt Schrader (D., Ore.).
