The Browns are set to hire Minnesota Vikings longtime special teams coach Mike Priefer as their new special teams coordinator, joining the new staff of new head coach Freddie Kitchens.

Priefer attended the United States Naval Academy, and then joined the United States Navy, and his dad Chuck is a retired National Football League coach and special teams coordinator. In another clip, Mayfield does his best Kitchens impression - and doesn't stop until the second he has to run on the field for the next series.

Kitchens is the 17th full-time head coach, succeeding Hue Jackson. Compare that to a 1-4 mark while completing 58.3 percent of his passes for 1,471 yards with 8 touchdowns, 6 interceptions and being sacked 20 times in his first 6 games.

We have known it for a couple of days now, but the Cleveland Browns have made it official.

The sources said that the move could happen if the Rams don't advance to the NFC Championship Game and the Chargers do advance. The Eagles surprised everyone with a win last week against Chicago, and look to keep that momentum and underdog magic going.

Kitchens has held coaching positions with the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals in addition to the Browns. "I think he's the right guy to lead this team", Kirksey said. "He raised the bar for our offense a year ago, and I have no doubt he is going to raise the bar for our entire team".

It's an honor to be named the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. They are very highly thought of by Dee Haslam, they played a critical role in vetting candidates, and their studies on the various candidates were also central to the process, sources said. I've been to one Super Bowl that didn't end the way I wanted it to and that disappointing memory is what really drives me.

"It was great working with and learning from Freddie past year". He puts trusts in us as players.

The Browns are coming off their best season in over a decade and are already the trendy pick to win the competitive AFC North in 2019.
