Superbowl 2019: National Football League divisional round preview and predictions

The Colts were excellent running the ball last week in their win over the Houston Texans.

With Indy a 5.0-point underdog, game script projects to swing toward Luck and the passing game.

The Cowboys play great at home, finishing with a 7-1 home record in the regulars season.

Coming off of a bye week, the Kansas City Chiefs and their high-powered offense are the likely favorites at home this week.

Just another MVP performance from the second-year wonder.

Do the Chiefs have the defense to contain Andrew Luck and the Colts?

This Chiefs offense is historically great.

The largest point spread is on the Saints, the team that is favored to win Super Bowl 53. Do not get me wrong, this is still going to be a competitive game, but only because the Cowboys' defense will be the reason the team has a chance.

Despite that, Kansas City went out and scored touchdowns on their first two drives of the game, added a field goal on the third and scored one last touchdown on the half. This is a Dallas team that can shut down high-powered offenses like we saw them do against the Saints earlier this season, but the questions remain with their inconsistent offense.

Julián Castro announces 2020 presidential run from Texas
He said San Antonio , a city that is almost two thirds Hispanic, "represents America's future: diverse, fast-growing, optimistic". The Democratic field is starting to take shape even though the first primary elections are more than a year away.

Dak Prescott is underrated. But a majority of the offense has come from the legs of Ezekiel Elliott who had another big game when he ran for 137 rushing yards on 27 carries with a touchdown in the Wild Card Round.

The next matchup sees the Dallas Cowboys heading to LA to take on the Rams.

The Chargers completely confused the Baltimore Ravens a week ago with hard defensive looks and a gameplan that worked to perfection in what was, overall, a stifling victory that made the home crowd turn on its rookie quarterback.

The sources said that the move could happen if the Rams don't advance to the NFC Championship Game and the Chargers do advance. Kansas City is a 5.5-point favorite over the Indianapolis Colts, and oddsmakers believe the Patriots game against the Los Angeles Chargers will be the most competitive Divisional Round battle, with New England just a four-point favorite. The Patriots finished the year winning their last two games, but do not let that fool you as their opponents were the lowly Bills and Jets at home.

The NFL playoffs are underway; eight teams left will soon become four as they look to earn a spot in next week's conference championships.

Splitting about 50 percent of offensive snaps with Gurley, running back C.J. Anderson also went for over 100 yards and a touchdown in his first playoff appearance since winning Super Bowl 50 in 2015. For Brady, it would be the sixth of his career while Philip Rivers would get his first shot to play in the Super Bowl if his team should make it there.

Not to be outdone, the weather gods in Los Angeles, Calif. are blessing us with some heavy rainfall on Saturday, which already appears to be having an affect on the field at Los Angeles Coliseum.

The Los Angeles Rams defeated the upstart Dallas Cowboys in the divisional round of the 2018 National Football League playoffs, accomplishing what no other team has managed: a physically-dominant attack that ran all over the vaunted Cowboys defense. The Eagles surprised everyone with a win last week against Chicago, and look to keep that momentum and underdog magic going.
