The Witcher’s Geralt joins Monster Hunter World in February

The Witcher's Geralt of Rivia is continuing his tour of other games like Soul Calibur 6 with a stop in Monster Hunter: World this February.

Monster Hunter World's Witcher collaboration, which was announced at the tail-end of previous year, will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in a free update on Friday, February 8th. However, one would assume that they lean more towards Geralt's impressive monster hunting skills, and less towards his talents for seduction and Gwent, though until the event launches we technically can't say for sure... Capcom boasted about their latest event. Along with the slew of monsters to track, kill and/or capture, Capcom has thrown in plenty of cross-over events implementing features throughout the gaming universe to keep fans satisfied. In a 2017 interview with Business Insider , Gilroy stated that the film's "got a Robert Altman-like large ensemble cast". The Player came out in 1992 and the Oscar-nominated film presented a satirical peek inside the Hollywood studio system.

With iconic monsters and characters from Final Fantasy, Assassin's Creed, and Capcom's own titles such as Mega Man and Devil May Cry, hard-working monster hunters have had plenty to enjoy. Little is known about what will transpire during Geralt's visit, but we now have a concrete release date for the new content on consoles.
