Velvet Buzzsaw Netflix horror movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal

Netflix Canada has brought so many unbelievable movies and TV shows to us lately.

The film is helmed by "Nightcrawler" Director Dan Gilroy, and co-stars Rene Russo, John Malkovich, Billy Magnussen, Daveed Diggs, Zawe Ashton, Natalia Dyer and Toni Collette.

The art world can be pretentious, but it can also be deadly, as the first trailer for Netflix's new thriller, Velvet Buzzsaw, reveals. A fantastic artist is found dead and it turns out he's been painting with blood on many of his works.

There is weird and there is weird... and then there is Velvet Buzzsaw.

World Bank announces selection process for next president
The US prevailed in selecting its preferred candidate over challengers from Nigeria and Colombia, but the process was grueling. The World Bank on Thursday said it has commenced a process that will lead to the selection of a new president.

"Critique is so limiting and emotionally draining", says a pondering, heavily affected Jake Gyllenhaal, wearing thick glasses and an all black suit in that very specific, snooty art scene man uniform.

In the trailer Gyllenhaal is seen in character as art dealer Morf Vandewalt. This looks really unique.

In a 2017 interview with Business Insider, Gilroy stated that the film's "got a Robert Altman-like large ensemble cast". It's got a The Player vibe to it.

The Player came out in 1992 and the Oscar-nominated film presented a satirical peek inside the Hollywood studio system. It's the story of greed, artistry and revenge, with an aim to leave you wondering where you draw the line when it comes to exhibiting modern art.
