Telegraph Sport understands Hazard has not told Chelsea of his plans, but talks over a new contract have not progressed.

That, together with the latest hint over his intentions, has increased the likelihood that he will officially inform the Blues that he wants to move to Real this summer.

The 28-year-old Belgium global has been stalling on a new Chelsea contract for over a year now, amid speculation linking him with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The report also notes that Hazard's bombshell interview with RMC was done some weeks ago, while the Belgian forward would have known it was not due for immediate release and has since kept fans and the media guessing as to his intentions. He believes that Hazard's decision has been made and he will ask to leave this summer. "I have made a decision", Hazard said.

Emiliano Sala: Nantes demand $28m transfer fee from Cardiff City
In response the Ligue 1 side sent a legal letter to Cardiff City on Tuesday requesting the money owed to be paid within 10 days. Cardiff are reported to be committed to honouring the deal but not until they have been provided with sufficient documentation.

Former Benfica and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) defender David Luiz has a Chelsea contract that runs out at the end of this season.

Chelsea will demand over £100m from Real Madrid for Eden Hazard if the Spanish giants bid for the Belgian worldwide this summer.

According to the same story, the 28-year-old has been given assurances by Real Madrid that they will look to sign the Chelsea FC number 10 this summer.

He could add to his medal haul at Stamford Bridge on Sunday when Chelsea face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final.
