Kerr's comments came in the wake of an emotional news conference by Kevin Durant on Wednesday night in which he said he didn't trust the media amid speculation that he could be headed to the New York Knicks via free agency this summer.

The Golden State Warriors superstar went off on the media following Wednesday night's win over the San Antonio Spurs.

"Come on, man. Grow up", Durant said, per ESPN.

If the rumors of Durant planning to head to the Knicks are indeed untrue, maybe that's for the best. Or, if we want to get existential, as KD did, who am I? "I get it. At the same time, I wish it was more about what we do on the court, but I understand this is also entertainment to a lot of people". I am trying to play basketball. Y'all come in every day, ask me about free agency, ask my team-mates, coaches and rile up the fans about it. Let us play basketball. And now when I don't wanna talk to y'all, it's a problem with me.

"Grow up. Grow up". Grow up. Yeah, you, grow up. I come here to work every day and cause no problems. So, if I don't say nothing, it's a problem. I play the right way, well I try to play the right way.

Durant is an incredible player, one of the best scorers in National Basketball Association history and a future Hall of Famer. And then when I don't say nothing, it's a problem.

United, meanwhile, have run into form since replacing Jose Mourinho with Solskjaer at the end of December. Tuchel's side will also be missing Brazil striker Neymar, who has been ruled out with a foot injury .

According to The Athletic's Ethan Strauss, Durant thought that beating LeBron James in the NBA Finals in 2017 would vault him ahead of "The King" and earn him the title of top player in the world.

When a reporter continued to press Durant on free agency, the Warriors star dismissed those questions by saying: "Those are the conversations you're gonna have".

"But there's other stuff you've got to deal with..."

With those two teams making up half of the list of Anthony Davis' preferred landing spots, there is a chance that Kevin Durant could find himself forming the next big three in the city of his choosing as soon as July of this year. He reportedly called Durant a "b--" and said, "We don't need you". Will it help me do my job better...

Warriors star Stephen Curry does not believe Durant's words will have any impact on his game or the team moving forward.

Even if you hate Durant, you have to give him props here for his honesty.
