When Manchester United were drawn against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League's round of 16, the reaction was one of panic among United fans, while supports of rival clubs indulged in some schadenfreude.

The trio have smashed an incredible 48 goals in the French top flight this season, as the Parisians have opened up a 13-point lead at the Ligue 1 summit.

The Uruguay global was one of few PSG stars to start the match, as Tuchel kept the likes of Leandro Paredes and Kylian Mbappe in reserve ahead of the last-16 first leg at Old Trafford.

"I don't have good news", said PSG manager Thomas Tuchel. "We don't have another Edi like we don't have another Neymar". We do not have a second Edi, nor a second Neymar.

"Normally, my opinion is definitely clear: for a game against Manchester United, for a game against Liverpool or even against Red Star Belgrade, you need your key players with confidence, experience, quality, who are used to playing that kind of game, are used to playing big games full of pressure, who are used to managing the pressure".

"I do not know [if he will be fit]".

Measles outbreak declared in Manila
The Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday (February 6) declared an outbreak of measles in the National Capital Region (NCR). Convocar assured parents that the measles vaccine is safe and effective.

"There are lots of plan Bs now", Tuchel told reporters.

Tuchel's side will also be missing Brazil striker Neymar, who has been ruled out with a foot injury.

There was better news on Marco Verratti, though, with Tuchel confident the Italian midfielder will be fine to play against United despite only completing 60 minutes last time out.

"If your key players are not there it's different". He will hopefully play 45 minutes, but we have to decide. Verratti played nearly an hour before being substituted by Leandro Paredes.

United, meanwhile, have run into form since replacing Jose Mourinho with Solskjaer at the end of December.

Mario Balotelli and Lucas Ocampos scored as Marseille won 2-1 at Dijon on Friday.
