No free pizza, but this is pretty good too. Pretty much because everyone loves pizza. It's peak comfort food. That means any toppings, any specialities, and any crust type.

And if none of those pizza places suit you, you can always make your own.

If all of this pizza talk has got you craving some, I've got some great news for you.

And there are some National Pizza Day deals to look forward to...

Foodism's National Pizza Day celebration offers 30% off (or more) on pizza at tonnes of venues. And we're totally on board with the idea of a day honoring pizza, especially if the festivities include great pizza deals and sometimes totally free pizza. Participating locations are also offering a large one-topping pizza, salad bar and three drinks for $25.99. The only catch is your order must be placed online and picked up at the store.

Marco's Pizza: Two medium one-topping pizzas for $6.99 each.

Disney drops teaser video for live-action "Aladdin" movie showing Genie
The teaser unveiled the first footage of Will's Smith's Genie - and fans don't really know how to feel about it. And I say this as someone who's been an ardent defender of Ritchie's last couple of fun-filled blockbusters.

A free slice of pizza is yours when you stop by Pilot Flying J now through Sunday.

You'll get the latest updates on this topic in your browser notifications. If you're a first-time user, you will also be treated to a free drink.

If you're hungry for slice (or two), Pizza Hut is offering some sweet deals for National Pizza Day: Grab a large, two-topping pizza for $7.99 or go for the $5 mix-and-match meal offer when you order online. The deal last until February 17.

Order an 18-inch Patron XL pizza with three toppings and get a large one-topping pizza for free.

National Pizza Day is celebrated every February 9 because ... well, just because someone randomly chose to create a "holiday" devoted to pizza. Here's what you've got to do: Post a photo alongside a thank you note to pizza on your social media channels and share how Red Baron pizza solves mealtime chaos using the hashtag #ThankYouPizza and tagging @RedBaronPizza. Customers are then entered into a draw to win a year's free food from Toppers.
