Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, decided not to attend the royal wedding after it emerged that he had staged several paparazzi photos, reports The Sun.

A furious Samantha Markle has spoken to Daily Star Online after Meghan's bombshell letter to their dad was hung out for the world to see.

Per The Mail, the letter reveals just how devastated the 37-year-old duchess was over their rift, writing; "Daddy, it is with a heavy heart that I write this, not understanding why you have chosen to take that path, turning a blind eye to the pain you're causing... Please stop victimizing me through the media so we can fix our relationship.' Because every time her team has to come to her and fact-check something [he has said], it's an arrow to the heart", the insider told the outlet. "You've told the press that you called me to say you weren't coming to the wedding - that didn't happen because you never called".

The Duchess owns copyright of the handwritten letter under United Kingdom law which was brought to light after five of her friends spoke about it for the first time in an interview with U.S. magazine People.

"Please allow us to live our lives in peace". "You sent me an email last October that said: 'If I've depended too much on you for financial help then I'm sorry but please if you could help me more not as a bargaining chip for my loyalty". "Please stop lying, please stop creating so much pain, please stop exploiting my relationship with my husband", she continued.

The source also added: "He knows how to get in touch with her. What riles me is Meghan's sense of superiority", he said in an interview with the Daily Mail published in August. 'I was expecting something that would be a pathway to reconciliation. "I begged you to accept help - we sent someone to your home ... and instead of speaking to me to accept this or any help, you stopped answering your phone and chose to only speak to tabloids".

News of the duchess's reported letter was brought to light last week when five of her close friends revealed its existence to People.

Another friend said that when she visited the Duchess' Nottingham Cottage she noticed some boxes in her house and when she asked Meghan what was in them, the former actress replied: "They're hand warmers". "You can hate me if you want", he wrote. Ever since she and Prince Harry went public with their relationship -Markle's paternal family has done everything in their power to make her life miserable.
