Davis will likely return to less farcical match-ups in May when he will defend his title against an opponent that, as of yet, remains unselected. The 24-year-old Davis is the youngest US -born world titlist in boxing and was headlining for the first time.

Davis (21-0, 20 KOs) did not say anything about the exhibition with Nasukawa, who at least is closer in size to Davis than he is to Mayweather.

Last night, 24-year-old Davis, who is promoted and mentored by Mayweather, beat former world champion Hugo Ruiz in Carson, California, in a one-sided bout that failed to reach the second round.

Elsewhere, Ruiz's compatriot Rey Vargas successfully defended his WBC world super-bantamweight title against Venezuela's Franklin Manzanilla, while Alberto Machado of Puerto Rico lost his WBA secondary super-featherweight belt to American Andrew Cancio.

Ruiz was used to being on the other side of first-round knockouts having recorded 18 of his own during his career.

"(Before that) He's got an exhibition bout with the guy Tenshin (Nasukawa) in Japan this April.

Activision-Blizzard reportedly planning hundreds of layoffs
Analysts predict that the aforementioned move will lead to a $400 million reduction in revenue for Activision Blizzard . The Company kept a record of 754.25 million floated shares and 772.72 million shares outstanding.

"He was really hurt, that nose was broken earlier and then he got hit on it again".

'Yes, exhibition bout. April is Tenshin and May is the real fight, ' he added. I'm proud of Tank.

This will be a huge step up for the hard-hitting Ruiz, even though 33 of his 39 wins are by KO, he will be at a size disadvantage going up to 130-pounds against a much larger and stronger Tank Davis.

Fresh from beating Tenshin up himself on New Year's Eve, Mayweather plans to send over Gervonta Davis to potentially do a similar job on a RIZIN Promotions show. Check out everyone who was in the building for the big fight.

Get ready for Davis vs. Nasukawa in an exhibition, folks.
