Glimpses Of Kesari (Part 2): "Sawa Lakh Se Ek Ladaun…"

Vast numbers of Afghani tribesmen run for their lives as a man gradually raises his sword in the teaser of Akshay Kumar's upcoming period film Kesari. The first glimpse of Kesari opens on an army of soldiers running around and they gather around a fort.

Kesari is based on the historical Battle of Saragarhi, where 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghan soldiers. The movie also stars Parineeti Chopra as Akshay's on-screen wife and it hits the theatres on March 21. The actor has been sharing glimpses from the film for quite some time, and today, Kesari's new poster was unveiled by Akshay on social media.

In the new poster of Kesari, we can see a close up of Akshay as Ishar Singh who looks absolutely intense. The third teaser offers the only good look at Akshay has he fires his rifle at the enemy. Anurag Singh directs the movie which is backed by Karan Johar (one of the producers). Soon after its release, the post of Khiladi Kumar started getting a lot of positive replies for the first synopsis of Kesari. While Randeep Hooda is working on a film called Battle of Saragarhi that is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Ajay Devgn had earlier said he will make a film called Sons of Sardaar.
