The Titans have agreed to a trade with the Miami Dolphins that will send quarterback Ryan Tannehill to Tennessee.

Miami landed a fourth-round pick in 2020 and a seventh-round pick in 2019 in exchange for a sixth-round pick and Tannehill, according to National Football League insider Ian Rapoport.

Tannehill's agency, SportsTrust Advisors, announced the move on Twitter.

It was widely rumored that Tannehill, once expected to be the team's savior, would leave.

Full terms: The #Dolphins are receiving a 4th round pick in 2020 and the 2019 7th round pick, while the #Titans are getting a 6th in 2019 and Ryan Tannehill. Miami's current depth chart is Jake Rudock and Luke Falk. The Dolphins haven't really been linked to many quarterbacks in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft, but that's largely a result of where they're picking. Tannehill was named the team's Ed Block Courage Award recipient in 2018 and the Dan Marino Team MVP in 2014.

Tannehill, a first-round pick (eight overall) by the Dolphins in the 2012 NFL Draft, will join quarterback Marcus Mariota on the team's roster.

His time with the Dolphins was marred by mediocrity and injuries.
