According to the Kansas City Star, Hill is being investigated for alleged battery. Hill has not been arrested for the incident, which has his fiancee, Crystal Espinal, listed under "others involved" and reportedly involves the couple's son, whose arm was broken. Hill and Espinal have a 3-year-old son, but he is not specifically named in any reports. As of Friday evening, Hill has yet to be accused of any crime, according to The Star.

Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is under a criminal investigation, police say. KCTV5 confirmed that the March 14 report occurred at the same residence as the March 5 report.

"We're in the process of gathering information and have been in contact with the league and local authorities", the statement says.

TMZ reached out to the District Attorney's office regarding the issue but were told nothing Tyreek Hill-related was listed in the system.

This is a very serious allegation especially given Hill's history of domestic violence.

If the investigation leads to charges, it wouldn't be the first time the star wide receiver has been charged.

Following the incident with Espinal, Hill went to therapy and went to counseling for anger management. In 2018, those charges were dismissed and expunged following the completion of his three-year probation, according to The Oklahoman. He pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation in August 2015 and received three years probation.

The Kansas City Chiefs are now experiencing a bit of anxiety as they have to deal with yet another prominent player on the team having allegations thrown his way for misbehavior.

He was taken in the third round by the Chiefs in the 2016 NFL Draft.
