Just when you thought the Kardashians were all out of surprises, Kim has announced that she is studying to become a lawyer.

Kardashian West will take a "baby bar" administered by the state of California this summer and if she passes, will be able to continue her next three years of study.

Kardashian told Vogue magazine in an interview published on Wednesday that she has begun a four-year apprenticeship with a San Francisco-based law firm under a California programme for those without formal qualifications.

Last summer, the star made headlines for her role in the release of Alice Marie Johnson, a 63-year-old woman who had been held in an Alabama prison on non-violent drug charges since 1996.

Briefly.co.za gathered that Kim says she wants to fight "the system" and fix it, as well as help people who have "paid their dues".

Polls open in 1st phase of India's lengthy general election
Congress is a secular, socialist party that's pledged to protect India's minorities and improve life for the poor. Before the 2013 general elections in Pakistan, Mian Nawaz Sharif was asked a similar question about India .

California is one of four states that allow apprenticeships as a path to taking the bar exam, Vogue pointed out. "I need to know more, '" she recalled. "I was really nosy about the forensics".

Sisters Khloe and Kourtney also didn't seem that shocked, explaining she's always been like their late father Robert Kardashian, who famously represented OJ Simpson in his murder trial. "You may not use her as your lawyer and I certainly would not, but there are people who would..." "Took my first test, I got a 100".

The journey for Kardashian has already led her to law school and getting ideal scores on her first test, which her husband, Kanye radiates "She's always had it in her". Kardashian, who does not have an undergraduate degree, either, has been logging 18 hours of weekly supervised study since July, according to Vogue.

Considering Kim's previous moves of dipping into the political world, her lawyer plans aren't too much of a shock but of course, the internet has a lot to say on the matter.

Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian, has opened up in a recent interview to discuss more on Kanye's bipolar disorder and how it can be an "emotional process". The staff kitchen, he says, is where she spends the most time with her husband and kids - daughters North, 5, and Chicago, 1, and son Saint, 3. "Super easy for me", she revealed. Kim, who learned about Alice's story through social media, lobbied on her behalf in a meeting with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office in June 2018. I only had two pairs left!
