The project contains seven songs, and features Halsey on the track "Boy with Luv" (작은 것들을 위한 시), in a nod to the group's 2014 single "Boy in Luv". It is the opening album in BTS' new "Map of the Soul" series following their two-year-long "Love Yourself" album trilogy that won two No. 1s on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Korean pop stars BTS have dropped their latest project, "Map of the Soul: Persona" today as a follow up to record-breaking albums "Love Yourself: Tear", and "Love Yourself: Answer" from 2018. This song wrecked the previous record, set by K-pop girl group Blackppink's "Kill this love" which got 56.7 million views in its first 24 hours.

South Korean boy band BTS on Friday marked the start of a new era of their musical recordings with the release of an extended play (EP).
