Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram reportedly down worldwide

On Tuesday, Facebook added a tribute section for memorialized accounts for friends and family to share endearing stories about their lost loved one in one place.

People took to Twitter to report the outages, with #WhatsAppDown, #InstagramDown and #FacebookDown trending in Pakistan and across the globe.

The three social network giants, which are owned by Facebook, have been down since about 11am, according to monitoring website Down Detector.

A map on the site showed the UK, US and large areas of Europe are affected by the connection issues.

Meanwhile in the United Kingdom, the Mirror also reported that irate users were taking to Twitter to vent their frustrations.

Moreover, WhatsApp users can't update their status, "sent message status" is pending, and everything is stuck at the moment.

Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram are all suffering technical difficulties. "Not good for those who do social media work, like me".
