We've been hearing for months now that Google is working on a more affordable version of the Pixel 3 and 3XL in the Pixel 3a.

After months of speculation, reports are now circulating that Google may reveal the rumoured midrange Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL on May 7, the day of the company's I/O developer conference keynote. That is a possibility but for now, see how you can download and install the new Avengers: Endgame Playmoji pack by Marvel Studios. In addition to the obvious teaser for the Pixel devices, there is a promotional video in collaboration with Marvel for the upcoming movie, Avengers: End Game.

"Something big is coming to the Pixel universe" is the message that is displayed on the Google Store, hinting towards an official announcement most probably with the occasion of Google I/O 2019, happening May 7. With these handsets, Google looks set to bring the unadulterated Pixel camera, which, let's be honest, is easily the best thing about the Pixel smartphone range, to a slightly more affordable price point.

According to rumour Google has two cheaper phones in the works, the Pixel 3a and 3a Plus. According to leaks the 3a will come with a 5.6-inch display, while the 3a XL will have a larger 6-inch display.

Earlier it was reported that the Pixel 3a could start at Euro 450 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The characters can be added to different scenes when creating a picture or video from Pixel 3 and ARCore optimizes the augmented reality elements. Rumors have said the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL could launch at Verizon this spring.
