Mumbai Sky Tower wins ‘Outstanding Concrete Structure’ award

The iconic GVK Sky Tower at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport which civil engineering group Arup helped to create has won a major award.
The Indian Concrete Institute has given the 2013 Outstanding Concrete Structure 2013 Award to the project.Standing at 83metres, the new air traffic control tower is the tallest building in the area and a landmark addition to the city’s skyline.To view the full story, subscribe now for free or login >>
