Transport terminal lands BIM award

An innovative $118million transportation hub project in California involving civil engineering group Parsons Brinkerhoff has been given a major award for its use of Building Information Modeling (BIM).

The Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) has received the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Technology in Architectural Practice (TAP) award.

Since 2005, the AIA has spearheaded an effort to highlight outstanding case studies in the use of BIM technology and processes on construction projects.
